Sliding Door Locks

Sliding door locks are mechanisms designed to secure sliding doors in the closed position, providing a privacy function.

Key features of sliding door locks:

• Since sliding doors move horizontally into the door frame, a standard door lock with a deadbolt won't work. Instead, sliding door locks use a hook lock that engages with the door frame keep. Simply twist the WC turn to engage.
• Sliding door locks include a safety feature: an emergency coin-release on the outside. Rotating this unlocks the door, allowing entry in situations such as when a child locks themselves in a bathroom.
