Manital Door Handles

Luigi Bigoloni founded Manital in 1990 in Vobarno, a small town in the province of Brescia, a territory that is known globally for its metalworking and craftsmanship that goes back centuries. From the very beginning Bigoloni built up the foundations of the companies’ philosophy passion for design, attention to detail, and research for innovation.

The Nineties served as a golden opportunity to develop and implement cutting-edge technology into the production of door handles, by introducing new manufacturing systems centred around robotics and automation, a semi-automated assembly system, and a computerized system used to facilitate warehouse management.

The use of the most advanced industrial technologies allows for the perfection of the production cycle, the reduction of waste, and optimized quality. However, the handcrafted artisanship that represents the cultural heritage of Brescia’s Valleys still remains within Manital’s production. Within Manital’s initial years of operation, Manital began to see the first collaborations with industry leading architects and designers.
